31B SZ NOV, any ideas if points will drop?

Possibly not in November, they'll probably pick up the SFC before they drop points for SSG. We are all in the same boat, my points have been at 798 for most of the year and last year it was a star MOS. Things can change quickly.

Isn't 31B still MP? I know the Army is downsizing with the slowdown of the war, but there must be a crap load of MPs. Lol Normally y'alls points were low, and for Sergeant I remember all they had to do was go to the board. It was set at 355. Me, I took awhile. I was a 92A and made sergeant when they finally dropped to 596 and then shot back up to 798.

SZ and PZ stand for secondary and primary zones for promotion. And I doubt they'll drop anytime soon.

For active duty Army propositions there are two list released for advancement of all NCOs a Primary Zone (PZ) and a Secondary Zone (SZ) both based of time in grade (TIG)

Well you should be more worried with time in service if you have enough time in service and I have no games against you there's no reason why you shouldn't be promoted if there are others that come after you enter promoted above you should ask questions there's no reason that you shouldn't get promoted in a timely fashion and we all know about the unspoken rules that is not who you know its who you blank if you see higher-ups promoting people live there really friendly with about you even if you do a better job then it's time to look into new position in a in another unit i've seen this a lot of people that are friends with the higher ups or two friendly which is called fraternize Asian tend to get their promotions quicker which is not right I think it should be illegal to promote someone on the basis of friendship as opposed to the ability of the Salter if you see this happening you should step away for a complaint to higher Authority

Don't worry about the points. They will eventually drop to where anyone can freak pick up. Crappy Spc who get an easy board or someone can memorize the crap of ADPs ect. Just like the rigger field. I chased points for almost two years and then it dropped and kept dropping to 39 points so now everyone can pick up, all you need to do is effn breath. It pisses me off bc I worked my butt of to get promoted for nothing.
