How am I supposed to get my award to show up on my ERB?

When should my ERB be updated with my AAM?
I graduated from BCT as distinguished honor graduate and was awarded an AAM but it hasn't shown on my ERB. I graduated September 28th. Is there something that I need to do in order to get my ERB updated? I have the DA Form 638 and the certificate that says "The Army Achievement Medal" on it.

Are you still in AIT?
Take it to your S1 there. Ask your PSG for a time to go.
Are you at your duty station?
Take it to your S1 there. Ask your Team Leader/Squad Leader/Section NCOIC/whoever your first line leader is when to go.
Are you Guard/Reserve?
Take it to your S1/UA. Get the information from your first line leader, polite thing to do is email it.
Take it to your S1 there. Ask your PSG for a time to go.
