Would you prefer RallyPoint Answers to be a formatted as a conventional discussion forum?

I'm fairly new to this site, but like many of you, have spent a lot of time on forums and social networking sites. While this site is great, I find it a bit difficult to navigate. For the discussion part of RP, who else would like to see it in the more conventional format? For those not familiar, a conventional forum is laid out on one page broken down into categories which to tunnel down into sub-categories or the actual topics started by members.

I had the same feeling when I started here on RallyPoint, SFC Paul P. This is a different format and it does take some getting used to.
Notice the similar discussions area to the right (--->>). There's a discussion there by CW2 (Join to see) that is very similar to yours. You might find some feedback there on this topic. (https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/rallypoint-discussion-format-change)
I believe the RallyPoint leaders are always working on changes/improvements to the site.

RallyPoint discussion format change | RallyPoint
I spoke with some of the RP admins/members, and based on my recent posts (which you may or may not have seen) and some interest in a format change, decided to post my suggestion to change the RP discussion format. The premise behind this proposed change is simply that RP has become too inundated with several things, which I can explain in more depth but here is the BLUF points (also, understand when I say "need" I mean all in one place): 1....

I like the format as it is so I can see the various threads. I say keep it as is.

I agree. It could definitely have room for improvement but some things are better left alone
