If you are assigned to 11th ACR, contact your Schools NCO to see if you can get into RTAC Course (Ranger Training Assessment Course) aka Pre-Ranger Course.

Well since you will be a SSG one day you will need to be IMLC qualified to certify your section. According to the mortar gods IMLC will soon be required by all SSGs and above.

The best part of Irwin is the small number of Soldier in the unit. Less competition for slots and we have tryouts on a regular basis. Same with air assault.

That's true, Ive seen a large amount of Soldiers from Irwin come through the Air Assault School here at Campbell. Seems like that Unit must be good about taking care of Soldiers and getting them to Army Schools.
