I definitely agree with SSG Behnke. Talk to your ESO to learn how you can best leverage your education benefits WITHOUT tapping into your GI Bill.

I've been able to pursue an education up to a Master's degree without touching my VA education benefits.

You do not have to wait, but I highly recommend speaking to an education counselor to ensure you maximize your benefits. There are other financial assistance programs you may be able to utilize.

I'm in the reserves and i'm just worried that I will not get the 60% rate for GI Bill since I've served 12MOS active duty.
