2nd Amendment is integrated into our genes as a Nation. While I agree that with changing decades and times, adjustment need to be made to laws and other "regulations", the 2nd Amendment is more important than ever if we look at the situation...leave it, do not change it.

It's funny how unaffordable healthcare became for me because of the ACA.

I had a pretty good healthcare plan prior to it going into effect, but them my premiums increased to the level where it was no longer possible for us to be covered, while the benefits stayed somewhat the same.

Now, my kids are covered under state-funded healthcare, but my wife and I have to choose which one of us gets to have coverage and which one will need to pay cash for medical treatment.

Here's a concept to those who consistently want to infringe on my rights: Why don't YOU teach YOUR children as YOU see fit and I'll teach MY children as I see fit. If you don't like firearms, that is perfectly okay by me. I sincerely do NOT want you involved in an activity or handling any type of tool YOU are uncomfortable with. On the same token, I will teach MY children in how to properly operate and handle firearms. They will also be SMART ENOUGH to know what to do if they happen to stumble upon an unsecured firearm. I know I'm in the minority here but the 2nd Amendment is taken way out of context from what the founders intended. It was intended to provide citizens that were part of a "well regulated militia" (like the current national guard) the right to maintain a weapon. The founding fathers were fans of Greece and Rome which called up citizens to defend the country in time of war, hence the right to bear arms under the second amendment was for the citizenry to protect the Government not vice versa. I support gun ownership with some restrictions but am tired of seeing the second amendment misused.

More and more often these days employers are not offering that benefit.What are hard working honest Americans supposed to do? $500 or $600 per month for a family is unaffordable.
