Absolutely! It is a public domain that shows up in Google searches. Anything you post here goes out to the world. It is a great place to make connections with brothers/sisters who share a similar background, and to connect for advice & a little levity in our own special way!

I really should think of it this way, but I only think of Rally point when it pops up in my mailbox. I'm thankful for it because folks that wore the uniform understand certain things that whiz around with nowhere to land when talking to civilians. I find it amazing how two vets can meet as strangers conducting totally unrelated business and end up talking about military life and/or its impact on everything else, or whatever topic hits that day. The next thing you know, its an hour later and you part as friends.

For the most part. I use each social network for different purposes. As far as I know, I don't have any friends/family here at RP, but everyone, including my boss is my friend on Facebook. I don't usually do personal updates on LinkedIn and I almost never comment on Facebook as people are triggered so easily. I enjoy having conversations here on RP as a lot of us share similar views.

I do because Rally Point and Linked In are the only social media sites I use.
