If you are going to a BCT you are deploying.

Completely up to the unit commander. If they are short on bodies, you'll go. If they are close to their force cap, you'll stay.
I've been in bother situations. One deployment, I deployed a few months late and was stuck with a different battalion the entire deployment. Another deployment, I arrived just after the train up was completed and forced to stay on rear d because of a force cap.

What unit are you going to? Are you in a BCT? Like LTC (Join to see) said, if you are going to a BCT and your details there are accurate, then yes you should expect to deploy and meet up with them.

There is more to this story. Why would an 11B Non Commissioned Officer ask such a question in the first place.

This would be my first deployment, been at JBLM going 4 years now with none and I'm 11B. I don't want to miss next available deployment, just want to do my job. Might sound like a novice answer but it's the truth.

SSG (Join to see) - I'd contact the gaining CSM and let him know. He could also set you up with the process (SRP, CIF, ect). It takes about a week to go thru the SPR and pre-deployment process. I'd get everything time-lined out so I could get out of there and with the unit as fast as possible. I'd PCS early if allowed. Obviously if you have a family then you have other responsibilities that you will need to set up expertly for them. Best of Luck on the deployment.

I would like to do the max 120 days early arrival. Hopefully my 4187 gets approved.
