My Father-in-Law passed away this weekend in Cleveland, Ohio. 24 years Army and National Guard (Ret.).
We are looking for who to contact up there to have a Honor Guard at the service.
I am the Color Guard Captain for my American Legion Post and we are the only Color Guard/Honor Guard for about 100 miles here in the Florida Keys. I'd appreciate any help with contacts or info for the Cleveland area.

Sorry for loss SN Derrick Johnson . I found this list of veterans organizations for Ohio that may be of service. As to not sure where your fater-in-law will be interned I also provided and American Legion Post that has an honor guard team.

My condolences on the loss of your father-in-law. The two best ways is to contact the Casualty Assistance Office at the nearest military base, which would probably be Fort Knox, KY for you. You should be able to contact VA also but don't have any experience in that regard.

SN Derrick Johnson - I know this comes too late, but most local ARNG or USAR units in the area would be more than happy to help. I am truly sorry for your loss.
