Can anyone assist in helping me set up a non-profit in Massachusetts to aid veterans (specifically women veterans)?

Your state should have some guidelines, Gail - I set one up for California, and it was pretty much a checklist of items. One resource I'd recommend is Nolo legal resources. Contact me via PM if you have more specific questions.

A few ideas: Are you on linked-in? I can introduce you to the Superintendent at the Soldiers Home in Chelsea.
Or!! Capt Jimmy Santos informed us about a legal training seminar back in February. Harvard Legal Clinic (Attny Betsy Gwinn) may have some ideas or know of something in the works with another person - or group - that are working on the same thing.

Good luck! My grad school & working full time just don't allow me much else.
