Yes. I've called my wife from the middle of Iraq and Afghanistan over government phone lines (morale call), so yes you can. From what else I read on this thread you are being played. Do not give anyone any money involved with this....and if she tells you her cousin is a Nigerian prince in need of confidential assistance, don't answer that email either.

Soldiers in IET have limited access to phones....but this all wreaks of BS.
