How was your experience as a patient or employee of a Concentra clinic/urgent care center?

Several area Concentra clinics are on the list of available sites for my first clinical rotation as a physical therapy student, along with some locally owned PT clinics. Until today I didn't even realize they had PT services at their clinics. I'm curious to hear some firsthand knowledge from those who have actually been to or worked for them (PT or otherwise).

I've only designed cabinets and wall panel systems for them. They both have state of the art equipment. Sorry I don't have any more info.

I was injured on the job a few years ago, Concentra was on the list of places that I could go after the ER visit, and it was close. Their PT facility was awesome. The one that I was a patient of had great staff that took the time to get to know you. I really liked the people, from the doctors, to the nurses, to the therapists. A sense of humor seems to be one of the requirements.

I used to work there, in the IT Dept. I did and still do go to Concentra for certain things but tend to go to my PCP for everything since going to Concentra as a patient is considered emergency care.
I can't say much for them as a company now since I left about 3 years ago, but I do know that their new owners (Select Medical) are running some people off, or at least that si what it looks like by MANY of my contacts there have moved on to other companies.
