My problem is that I have to much Active duty and would not be able to attend W1. That would give me over 18yrs of active duty and Uncle Sam won't like that. I have several medics under me in varying companies and they would benefit from this course as well, none of which has gone to the W1 course either.

Another option might be contacting the Civil Affairs reserve training at Fort Hunter Liggett in California since it's a CA course. There might be a CA medic course there.

Thanks. We actually have a SFC assigned to the school house that RSTs with us when not teaching he drills with us. He said that they do not teaching it at all just the 37 and 38 series MOS.
