I did not feel that they cared about my academic progress but about my $$$. Someone checking a box, sure. Getting $10,000 worth of education for a graduate degree, not so much. I have not dealt with any other programs and they maybe the same. I checked a box but do not feel I received the same education that I would have some place else.

Sir, Do you think having a degree from there helped your career? I've always had a bad feeling about this school, but I'm looking to get my 2nd Masters and am hoping this will help me stand out from my peers on the MSG board.

It checks the box for needed graduate degree for LTC however I would think one for E8 would be more than enough. I will even go as far to say if you thinking this far ahead to get another grad degree, you probably have done enough other things to make your packet solid.

Sir, many have felt that way! I loved Trident because they were so flexible.. but you feel like you are educating yourself through the course work and the overall degree program. At least I felt that way

It is "regionally accredited", which is a good thing because "nationally accredited" for-profit schools are not always recognized in the same way. Unfortunately, the Army Ed Centers pushed a lot of those type schools for TA in the past. Good for promotions, but not the same in the civilian world.

regional and national accreditation makes a huge difference.. unfortunately, Trident is a for-profit institute.. but there are many non-profit regionally accredited schools out there that accommodate Soldiers and their schedules

Great school did my undergraduate degree with them. I will be starting my Master's degree in the near future with them as well. Easy to use very supportive of Military. Lastly, 4 credit hours per class.

I received my undergrad from Trident. They are very military friendly and flexible. I began my graduate program with a different school through. Nothing against Trident.. Supportive staff and all! but usually older universities hold more weight and prestige, especially if it's from a brick and mortar that still practices old age pedagogy.
