On one hand, I would like to see one. However, I also think it would be Federal overreach and that issues such as concealed carry permits should be handled at the state and county level.

PO1 Todd B. - I am definitely not for gun control! However, I am for limiting the power of the Federal Government to dictate to the states, even when those dictates are for things I want.

MSgt James Mullis - There is a huge difference between states rights per the Constitution and what we see today where states are literally removing the Constitutional rights of citizens using that excuse.

MSG Steve Wiersgalla - Agree completely.. but the next best thing is a new law that Trump will sign.

I think he should sign it if congress pushes it through to his desk. I do hope they do it smartly stating that only qualified personnel can carry. What I mean by qualified is that they have required background checks, proper training across the board so one state doesn't give them to every Tom Dick and Harry that walks in because they can and the next you have to do everything to include donating your first born.
