As I posted somewhere else, if these hearings were considered a grilling of the candidates, we're having steak tartar for dinner tonight.

The news agencies are good at highlighting the outrageous and the inept. There are hours of informative and boring cross talk not shown, which is.....pretty boring. So for most, it's an opportunity for Senators to get on an historical public record, and they do.

I watched it in its entirety. Climate change, gay marriage to the DoCIA? LGTBQ rights in the military? There is already LGTBQ rights in the military.

Their questions had nothing to do with the hearings. Around re-election time, you will see Senators Warren and Harris play snippets of the film footage on their TV commercials. Just politicians making lemonade with their new bushel of lemons.
