The older I get, the more I tend to 'reevaluate' exactly what HAS to be done today. Even though I'm not yet in 'full' retirement, my time is becoming ever more valuable to me with each passing year. If it HAS to be done, so be it, if it can wait, it most likely will.
On the same topic, I have quit doing things like changing my own oil. I can go to the dealership and be in and out in 15-20 minutes for around $20.00 (with a coupon). Much quicker and, honestly, not that much more expensive (probably LESS expensive if you put a price on your time).

You should put a price on your time. It's the stuff your life is made of!
Especially if it's stuff you don't like doing. Ever since I could afford it, I quit doing my own maintenance on my vehicles. It always take 2-3 times the time it should, I always need a different tool, rip a pair of jeans or stain a shirt, etc. It's just not pleasant. I can spend plenty of time on things I enjoy.

I don't think everything can be accomplished instantly or within a short amount of time. However, progress, baby steps, and short term goals go a long way.
