If my unit is deploying within 9 months of my ETS, can they put a stop-loss on me?

I'm ETS in September 2018 and my unit is deploying 9 months before my ETS date would I fall under Stop loss or could I continue with my transition procedures?

There is a MILPER out about this. In short, if your ETS falls within the first half of the deployment, you do not deploy. If your ETS falls after the midpoint of the deployment, you can deploy, but you redeploy early in order to transition out.

Thank you. I'll look it up in HHC MILPER message section. The more information the better.

Stop LOSS went away years ago...Stop MOVE is possible depending on the deployment/rotation.
