Unfortunately, veterans only make up 10% of the population and its more politically safe to tax veterans than to make a tough call. What have you done to protect your benefits?

I've already written my State and Federal representatives, as well as the President... This link makes it very easy!

It doesn't bother me so much to lose a small portion of a benefit... it's the Idea that they will keep taking MORE and MORE!
