On Christmas Day 2013, the Commandant and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps came to FOB Shukvani where I was stationed on my deployment. There was a female sergeant with their PSD who was taking photos, but I did not catch her name or unit. Some of those photos included myself and my crew meeting the VIPs and working our LZ. Is there any way to find out who took those photos, and if there is a way for me to get them?

The Army has a flicker page where approved photos go and you can dig back pretty far. Is it possible the Marines have something similar you can try?

Way to look out for a brother MSG (Join to see) Sgt Andrew Pouliot your old unit Public Affairs office will have the unit's historian number on speed dial as well. If the Commandant was there, the unit will treasure those photos and have them at the ready for bragging rights.
