I have encouraged every veteran I know or have met to join us on RP. We represent such a small percentage of the American population that it is rare to come across fellow veterans other than at an American Legion or VFW meeting. Sadly, those who have never served do not share the same frame of reference, and talking with them is often as frustrating as having a conversation with a child

Yes, I usually try to bring over old friends from military.com. The problem is when you get used to a group and the format, it's difficult for some to move over.

You've spoken of the Military.com community before, yet I'm still floored they had such a strong forum community. How do you compare the two regarding culture ?

SGT (Join to see) - Membership is almost identical. There is an equivelant member for just about across the spectrum. Format, extreme limits on topics and content with Moderators that have absolute control and use it if you are on the wrong team. At this point, I found my niche, despite the warts.
