Just wanted to take a second to see how everyone is doing this fine Army monring? Me? Im doing awesome as usual. Who's got some issues this morning? Who's got a funny formation story?
I know someone had to have a soldier show up in shorts for PT, or black socks, or something crazy.

Yes, my first NCO actually showed up one morning with no PT shorts. He had on the t-shirt and everything else. When formation was about to start, he was told by someone in our unit that he forgot to put on his PT shorts. So he ended up sitting there in his truck for an hour until PT was over. 1SG just laughed and said, "must have been too early of a morning for you Sergeant"

I always liked that old 80s recruiting commercial of the unit doing the tactical drop and some soldier comes up to Top who's having his coffee, "Hey First Sergeant, good morning!"

I always laughed when I seen that Commerical, we use to joke about it with the troops, " try that s---t with me, won't get you s--t". Best response would have been like this" We Were Soldiers (2002) Sergeant Ernie Savage: Beautiful morning, Sergeant! Sergeant Major Basil Plumley: What are you a f----ng weatherman now?

I remember that but every time I jumped in it was 2300 and when I hit the ground a rolled my chute, grabbed my ruck and started a movement for about the next 5 days. the other one I like was the female going to college and the guy asks her what she did in the Army and she responds with a loud and squeeky "Airborne". NO GIRL, what did you DO in the Army! Airborne is not an MOS. Never understood the Army of One.
