Have you ever taken a survey submitted by your branch of service and if so do you feel it helped!!
For example: When I was on recruiting Duty they came out with a survey shortly after reporting for Duty as a recruiter. The survey was sent to all Navy Recruiters and was about recruiting duty, policies , and procedures. Within 6 months of this survey the Navy revamped its entire recruiting program. There were no longer individual goals, they did away with check books (a way to keep track of points you earned for the people you recruited), you no longer had to make up the deficit if some one you sent to boot camp dropped out. The biggest thing that came out of this survey that lead to no more individual goals was that the entire Navy Concept is built around Teamwork and when you get to recruiting duty it became all about you!! So this lead to station goals. Best Survey I ever took had they not implemented those changes I would not have survived my first 6 months on recruiting.

PO1 G. Leslie /Stiltner, absolutely to your first part and not sure to your second.
The biggest problem with the Service surveys is that rarely do they compile and release the results back to the respondents!
