Does anyone use weighted vest during workout? If so what brand, weight, top heavy (shoulders only) or full body, where did you purchase it, how much was it, and did it help or hurt your workout (performance and form)?

Absolutely not ! The added weight causes undue stress on joints and back. Regular compression of the spinal disc from upper body weight can have long term effects. Extra weight also causes you to change running form, stride length, pronation of the foot, etc...
For many years I ran marathons ( before the Army) and if I wanted to make it challenging I either ran further, faster, or wore a small parachute.

I've used the truing mask and love it. I also bought the titian weighted shirt. It only adds 8lbs and you feel amazing when you take it off.

Sir,
I discarded the vest and use the Mask instead, its a much better cardio improving device.

Call me cheap but I've used my IOTV with side plates for many workouts including PRT many times. I've also used an assault pack or ruck sack with weight for extra weight.

SGT (Join to see) I wish I had an IOTV. That would definitely help me out there. I just think it would be rough with situps. What exercises do you use it for or only for running?

As an alternative to situps, the plank and PRT Heel & Hook would be better. I like the pullup, pushup, buddy carry, and exercises hanging from a bar. However, Sir, the only time I run with weight is when sprinting or rucking for time.
