My Chief said that the New T-Shirts can't be worn with the tan boots is this correct? The reg says that you can until the wear out date. Has there been a message that says otherwise?

You can mix and match until the wear out date.

PO3 Steven Sherrill Valley Forge It was not that Washington's troops did not have boots. It was that nobody could decide what boots to wear!

SGT William Howell - And apparently making sure that they had properly accessorized. Hate to say it, but this is starting to sound like "Queer eye for the military guy."

The way this uniform change is being implemented, with a wear out date of UCP camo 4 years after the introduction date of OCP, allows soldiers to buy the new uniforms with their uniform allowance instead of having to spend their own money on them.

SGT(P) (Join to see) This is sort of like having the right of way when you are in a Prius and contesting with a loaded dump truck. The term is "dead right". Your Chief may be in error on this topic, but proving it directly, even with tact and respect, probably won't help your career. Good luck.
