Adaptable, Intelligent, Knowledgeable, Self-Assertive, Clever.
There's actually a way to figure this out. The Johari window is a psychological tool allowing you to identify character traits you believe to possess vs. what others perceive you to have.
An example is listed below:

Johari Window - SirVentzel's Window
The Johari Window was invented by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingham in the1950s as a model for mapping personality awareness. By describing yourself froma fixed list of adjectives, then asking your friends and colleagues to describeyou from the same list, a grid of overlap and difference can be built up.

Sgt Tom Cunnally
CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - Still has a USMC regulation hair cut, spit shined shoes, clean shaved, stands tall and straight, and gets emotional when the Marine Hymn and/'or Taps are played. and considers himself damn lucky to still be here. And probably not a bad ass but not too many bad asses will mess with him.
