I am 30 days a non-smoker. I had made it 9 months before, until a 10 day FTX took me from field smoker, to smoke-when-I-drink, and back up to smoker.
This time I am using an "E-Cig" or vaporizer with great success.
Anyone have any tips, tricks, advice, questions or other input about your personal battle against the nicotine monster?

Quit the first time for a Year. Replaced the ciggys with PT running in 5k competitions and Raisins (Sugar Fix to replace the Nicotine and the after taste is pretty similar). Been clean for 16 years now and just stopped cold turkey when I retired.

Although I quit smoking in 1965 for religious reasons, I went "cold turkey" to do it. Never regretted it and to this day I cannot be around cigarette smoke as it is repugnant. The addiction and more health problems exist when smoking the E-cigarettes. Please reconsider.
I also gave up coffee, tea, and alcohol, at the same time. It was the nicotine in my system that gave me the most problem.
