Many have asked who are the ones holding up the bill? And who will the most willing to support the bill with a little outside pressure? And how many already on board? The first question i can't answer, because I don't know. But if we focus our efforts on these senators we can get it passed by the first of next monthSenator Johnny Isakson (R - GA), Senator Jerry Moran(R - KS), Senator John Boozman(R - AR), Senator Dean Heller(R - NV), Senator Bill Cassidy(R - LA), Senator Mike Rounds(R - SD), Senator Thom Tillis(R - NC, Senator Dan Sullivan (R - AK), Tim Scott (R - SC), Senator Dean Heller (R - NV), Senator Dan Coats (R - IN), Senator John McCain (R - AZ), Senator Patrick J. Toomey (R - PA), Senator Rob Portman (R - OH), Senator Richard Burr (R - NC) Senator John Thune (R - SD), Senator John Cornyn ( R - TX), Senator Michael B. Enzi (R - WY), Senator Pat Roberts (R - KS), Senator Mike Carpo (R - ID), Senator Chuck Grassley (R - IA), Senator Lindsey Graham (R -SC), Senator Mike Lee ( R - UT), Senator Kelly Ayotte (R - NH), Senator Dan Sullivan (R -AK), Senator Deb Fischer (R - NE), and Senator Jeff Session (R - AL). I already have verbal commitment from 47 members of the Senate. So these senators will put us over the top. In talking to the Democratic Senators they want us to get more detailed in our request on the amendments. So that it won't be anything that can stop the process. So if you decide to join in with the email and calling please focus your attention on those in this article even if they are not from your state and do both email and phone call. Also we are asking for you to repeat the emails and calls every day until the bill passes. Here is what we are asking for: the passage of the American Heroes COLA Act of 2015 and the passage of three amendments. 1. Raising VA disability and pension pay by 25% not related to cost of living. 2. Allow the VA to pay veterans with a service connected disability rating of 60% or more Quality Of Life payments using the secondary disability scale making payments proportional to the disability rating of the veterans, and allowing for back pay to the date of award of current rating for Veterans 100% disabled or less with a three year maximum. And a five year Maximum for Veterans that are permanent and totally disabled. 3. Allow the VA to make the maximum pension payments to veterans who have a service connected disability rating 100% or permanent and total if the veteran is not receiving medical retirement pay or regular retirement pay for their military service. Allowing for back pay to the original award date of 100% disability for the maximum of five years
