Absolutely. Our wounded deserve the absolute best the nation has to offer. Would Congress or the Executive branch get any less?

We have billions to throw at green energy but we devote so little to those that have kept our country free. Disabled Veterans and Veterans are our true heroes. We voluntarily put on the uniform to protect the country and the rights/freedom of EVERY citizen, regardless. After serving as a Marine, I had a career as an LEO. I believe strongly that LEO, Fireman, EMTs carry on the military tradition of service and sacrifice. Stepping down from the soapbox now

Great idea but unfortunately the funding comes through the VA. Will they pay to make you the $6million dollar man unless they absolutely need to?

Exactly. While there is some awesome cutting edge technology out there for wounded and disabled vets, the bottom line is who is going to pay for it?

Sgt,
I know DOD works closely with MIT in order to develop technologies to both save and improve soldiers lives. There is a number of new exciting technologies coming out of universities and other institutions that will continue to help service members. It will be exciting to see in the coming decades the advances made.
