Should we extend Army Basic? Soldiers looking to re-enlist would need to attend, too?

The Army is looking to extend the length of basic training to get back to basics and dealing with social media. To ensure current soldiers have the same benefit, those requesting to re-enlist would owe that extra time at basic training prior to their re-enlistment ceremony.

It it was true, can you imagine people that go indef? When I did mine they added 14 years to my contract.
