What is it like to be stationed at Eglin AFB as a 13F?

I am in my window to reup as a E5(p) and was asking around about best places to PCS to so I can get out of Bragg. One of my buddies heavily recommended Eglin AFB as a great place to go, so I was wondering if anybody had any info or insight into Eglin?

Absolutely 0 13F slots at Eglin.

The only 13F slots in USASOC are for SFC and above. Senior enlisted have to submit an application through the USASOC slating board.

TLDR, a 13F cannot reenlist for Eglin. If your Career Counselor says they'll send the request anyway, they have no idea what they're talking about and HRC will counter offer Korea

I spend a good portion of my career assigned to non-standard post/bases. I found nit very rewarding and career enhancing. Good luck.

Those are E7 and above positions. You’ll need a a bunch of schools for that position to be relevant for you anyway so try and grab those before you make SFC. JFO, JFC, JOFEC, Battle Staff etc. best of luck
