So here goes my question which Google doesn't seem to have anything :(

Ok. My husband is stationed in Washington State. I am stationed in Charleston,SC. We were living together LONG before he got his orders to PCS from Charleston to Washington. We were married after he got his orders but about 45 days before he officially detached. When he moved to Washington he only got DLA and did not move any of our stuff. It is still here with me in Charleston.

I am in the process of a Med Sep. (I've had knee problems for over a year)

We are trying to find out if the Navy will pay to ship our stuff to him in Washington or if since it is most likely going to be a med sep and not a medical retirement will the Navy only pay to ship my stuff to my HOR (Ohio)

I've been told they'll pay to have it shipped to Washington and that they'll only pay to have it shipped to Ohio.

Also, would it be possible to ship our stuff out of Charleston and then ship my car out of Ohio.

Come July I'll have been in 2.5 years.
Anyone have similar situation that can provide insight?

I would go to your post headquarters location that has the in/out processing for housing and does moves and ask them. If they only pay to ship to HOR why not change that to Washington as you will be moving there?

Also, maybe check out http://www.move.mil/
