While we apply evaluation processes to many aspects of transition, have you ever used a process to evaluate your post-military goals and Dreams? If so could you share that process.

The process used by High Performers uses the following 10 factors to evaluate their dreams and goal:
1. Future Identity - Can you see yourself as that person?
2. Intrinsic Value - Would you pursue this dream no matter what?
3. Utility Value - Does this bring something tangible & real into your life?
4. Opportunity Cost - (everyone messes this one up) If I pursue this what is the cost to family, friends, social circles etc.
5. Delay Time - How much time will pass between the time you start till you see reward?
6. Personal Control - Do you feel that you alone can make this happen?
7. Social Support - Are the people that are important to you going to support you?
8. Bandwith Belief - Do you have enough time to pursue this goal or dream?
9. Resource Availability - Do you have the resources available to you or can you put the necessary resources together to achieve your goal or dream?
10. Autonomy - Have you give yourself permission and do you TRUST yourself to go do it?
