SGT Jeff Decker I don't know that there is a "best candidate". In recent elections many people have not been voting for someone because he or she is the 'best choice' but rather because that person is the least of two evils. People tend to be more motivated to vote because of the threat of something they perceive as bad than because of the opportunity for something good. There hasn't been any polarizing effect from any of the candidates for me, thus far. I will wait for them to finish the primaries and see who is left standing to make my choice.

You said it CPT C, it's more the less of the least evils! I can't say I am in support of anyone at this moment.

I don't see the sky falling and if I did, I sure as hell wouldn't wait for the government to fix it. (I'd find some way of making a profit by fixing it) I'm just waiting for a candidate who demonstrates the ability to function within the enumerated powers of the presidency with competency. As soon as they open their mouths to announce some impending crisis for which they have the vision to lead us to safety, I'm running the other way

For Commander in Cheif alone, I would say Gov Bush would be the best choice. But that is not the only qualifier I'm lookin for. Still Gov Bush has the best access to resources and personnel than all the other candidates and I believe he have the same upbringing as his brother with respect to respecting and honoring military personnel.

Let's see President Clinton, Sen Clinton, Sen Kerry, the Intelligence Community (including the foreign ones)... On multiple occasions they stated Saddam had to go. I was working with the Intelligence community at the time of the decision. It wasn't a matter of if Saddam had WMDs and supported terrorism, it was a known fact in our community. Neither President Bush or Vice President Cheney influenced those conclusions.
I believe in another thread you posted you support Sec Clinton for President. How does that sit with you that she supported and voted for use of force in Iraq? What about her actions in having us remove another dictator in Libya leaving a complete vacuum there?

You have touched on a very important point. When we vote for a President we are getting more, much more. I'd love to see them run with a slate of candidates for cabinet posts in hand so that we could see who we're really going to be getting.
