Rumor of a patch being designed for wear on right sleeve for deployment to GTMO? Will regulation be changed to allow wear of it?

I understand the argument of the issue to this topic. Only wanting to know for knowledge.

At most it'll be similarly the MFO patch like in Sinai. There won't be a combat patch for GTMO. Sorry.

I don't see that happening and well I hope that it does not happen. Sorry Guantanamo bay is not in a combat zone. It is a lot more like Korea.

Had friends stationed on the DMZ in Korea who would argue with you about your comment.

When I was there in 2002, we fought with the detainees hand-to-hand every day. I've had other deployments as well, and I'm not sure why the 42A who never left Bagram and gained 200 pounds gets a SSIFWTS but not those who dealt with detainees at GTMO.

MAJ(P) (Join to see) You sir understand fully my own case in point. It’s no longer about what I got or didn’t get it’s about what we did. Read: A Naomi Paik - Rightlessness, or review CASE NO.: 94-2183-CIV-ATKINS. HSM/JMUA(iss 1996)are laughable and demeaning to those detained and those deployed. Inhumane, underhanded treatment of a minority race where the atmosphere was atmosphere was fear on one side and encoded bloodlust on the other. I challenge any QRF, EGF, IGF JTF-160 pers to counter. All our briefs and AAR’s used the term COMBATANTS re:Haitian detainees

More than likely it will be something worn during that mission only. Similar to the ISAF patch we wore in Afghanistan.
