Do you work for, or know of, businesses who offer Veteran Transition Training/Orientation for their New Hires?

I work for a great company headquartered in Allentown, PA.
PPL Corporation is veteran-friendly and does several things to honor and advance our employees who served, as well as actively recruit military service members for various jobs, both physical labor and corporate.
- We have an employee-run Veteran Business Resource group.
- We attend job fairs aimed towards recruiting veterans.
- We recognize our veterans both internally and externally via corporate media channels (i.e. intranet portal, web site, employee magazine, etc.).
- We are working on a Veteran Leadership class for transitioning our veterans from military to corporate environments.
- And the list truly goes on...
If you live in any of our service territories, you should absolutely consider looking them up.

I would LOVE to find one in the Tampa, FL area.
Just about anything at this point. If anyone knows of one, please let me know...I spoke to Edward Jones at a recent job fair and they talked a lot about hiring and training veterans for financial advisers, so I applied. The same day I applied I heard back and I was not considered. It may be a good opportunity for other people who apply and get considered.

State Farm is one. No school fees and lots of ways to have your agency funded with Grants and Loans. I've been thinking about it.
