I think we've all come across the issue where there are people "chiming" in on a discussion that might just not involve them.  Do you think we should try focusing the discussion groups more?  i.e. one for a specific post/base, branch, rank?  

I know that some will say that this would limit discussion and idea sharing, I don't disagree.  However, I think there are some benefits to it too.


I thought I'd make a recommendation to RP, but I thought I'd ask the community first.

That would be a good idea, but it isn't going to happen. A lot of people may not have been involved in a particular situation, but they may have valuable input. You personally don't have go through something to have a valid opinion or solution to the problem.
