This study and others like it are suppressed by those who have a vested interest in the popular narrative wherein guns and gun owners are inherently evil. Even the Pope has gotten in on the act: No gun owner can be a Christian and those who manufacture guns are among the most evil. Data that contradicts the narrative is dismissed as heresy and those who utter it blasphemers. I wouldn't worry about it overmuch. I keep in mind that those who would disarm us have already disarmed themselves. They have neither knowledge or weapons to fight us. Ain't it grand?

The irony here is that local County Sheriffs across all states that have "open carry" laws are encouraging the populace to WEAR their handguns in the open.
I love data and that's data I can get behind. We have our CCW's but I can get to my .45 G.A.P. Glock faster if it is NOT buried beneath a coat.
