Recommendations are 1) subscribe to a magazine that is within your industry and 2) Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People"
Media for consumption: Podcasts. They are easy and perfect for a morning commute to work. Best way to consume knowledge on the go.Response by CPT Christopher Coker made Nov 1 at 2017 6:27 AM2017-11-01T06:27:15-04:002017-11-01T06:27:15-04:00SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member3107723

What I attribute to the success I have achieved this far.
1. Willingness to speak out, honestly and justly, but, with respect
2. Constantly setting and achieving goals to achieve and challenges to overcome. Schools and education, both military and civilian, obstacle races, working out, etc.
3. The professional development of my soldiers and myself.
4. (I want to add this because it is important) FAMILY. Always ensuring I make time for my family

Reading.
I am a huge Sci-fi fan. Right now I am reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. It’s pretty amazing how he manages to tie in a lot of his other writings through these books. Aside from that, Army publications, it is paramount to stay in the know on the latest guidance.

Media
I enjoy playing video games with my teammates and my wife, I also enjoy crime, sci-fi, and superhero shows. I am currently watching Gotham, which is like a crime drama, with superhero injections.

These are all personal preference of course and viewership and taste will vary.Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 20 at 2017 6:51 PM2017-11-20T18:51:56-05:002017-11-20T18:51:56-05:002017-10-31T20:21:57-04:00
