Since it's the National Guard it might be more difficult. Once you sign a contract and raise your hand you're considered in the military. Whereas, active components don't consider you 'in' until you ship to basic. This doesn't prohibit a transfer to a different component, it just makes it a longer process.

Your best course of action is most likely to contact an Air Guard officer recruiter AND your current Army Guard recruiter to discuss your options.

Yeah you're staying in the army guard, cant just change your mind last second
