I agree with you, Ma'am. Supreme Court allows petition, but so far none have been successful.

Lt Col Charlie Brown, under the Constitution, he does get the protections of US law. That was shown by the fact that his petition for a writ of habeas corpus was considered. He had that right merely by being in US custody.

You are confusing the right to have it considered with a right to have it granted. No one, not even citizens, have a "right" to be given a writ of habeas corpus. All anyone has is a right to petition for one.

And the REASON none have been granted to unlawful combatants held at the US military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay?

MAJ Montgomery Granger - I don't know or care, so long as they are given due process. If the court orders them held, I'm good with that, just as I would be fine if the court ordered them released.

See, the difference between us is that my position is based on the Constitution, not on religiously-based hatred.
