Dr. Janet Alvarez Gonzalez is an Award winning marketer, investigative reporter, film scriptwriter. Born in Puerto Rico, she began her career in the late 1980's as a director and producer for US television and radio networks PBS NPR, FOX and Jay Sears News Services, interviewing personalities such as President Mikhail Gorbachev, Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, Vice-President Al Gore.

• Utilized in-language and in-culture marketing tactics in language-specific media for the Hispanic segments (TV, print, radio, online, events, and sponsorships / partnerships) to drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Produced and coordinated a variety of methods, media and techniques such as news releases, radio and television programs, web-based venues (Facebook, Twitter) feature articles, editorial boards, personal appearances, news conferences, exhibits, and brochures.
• Supervised and provided guidance on operations of radio, television, and press for command information purposes for the National Guard, Air National Guard Texas State Guard at Operation Lone Star. Directed methods of communicating information and developed media plans to target the Hispanic population by establishing community relations with the media community (Telemundo, NBC and Univision) for the National Guard, Air National Guard and the State Guard at Operation Lone Star.
• Resulted in a 200% increase in public participation.
• Represented the Texas State Guard at the 3rd International Public Affairs Conference, Texas Military Forces. Honorable Discharge December 2016.
