Selected as first ever Command Master Chief - Reserve Force for US Coast Guard Director of Operational Logistics; a subordinate flag level directorate of the Coast Guard Deputy Commandant Mission Support. Advise active duty two star (O8) command and senior reserve officer (O6) on issues regarding readiness, deployability, discipline, health, well-being and morale impacting 1000 plus Coast Guard reservists serving at more than 15 Coast Guard support facilities world-wide. Network with service wide leadership to optimize Coast Guard Reserve workforce laydown strength and ratings structure to maximize reserve surge capability.
