Retired from the United States Army in 2014 after serving 28 years on active duty as a commissioned officer in the Army Corps of Engineers. A dynamic, results-oriented leader with demonstrated success in strategic planning, analysis, program management and process improvement. Highly focused, but adaptive. I can think two levels up, anticipate requirements and deliver results.

Leads the engineer staff of US Army Pacific and integrates engineers into the USARPAC command posts. Responsible for the care and professional development of 25-30 officers, NCOs and DA civilians. Programs and oversees the Command's multi-million dollar military construction program for Alaska, Hawaii, Japan and Guam; recommends prioritization of construction support to theater-wide capabilities. Oversees exercise-related construction in support of the Theater Security Cooperation Program and bi-lateral agreements. Responsible for assuring mobility, enhancing Protection, enabling expeditionary logistics and building engineer capacity across the USARPAC AOR. Routinely coordinates with the PACOM J-44, DA ACSIM, Installation Command - Hawaii and the Pacific Ocean Division, Corps of Engr.

Senior military advisor to a Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in the United States Division - North (USD-N) operational environment, under the Advise and Assist Brigade (AAB) concept. Advises the Department of State (DoS) PRT Team Leader in executing stability operations and civil capacity building activities as expressed in the Unified Common Plan (UCP) and in support of USF-I, division and brigade lines of effort (LoE). Provides the BCT-AAB situational awareness of PRT relationships, programs and activities in the areas of: Governance, Rule of Law, Economic Development, Health/Medical, and Public Diplomacy. Establishes relationships with key Iraqi leaders, USAID, US Dept. of Agriculture and Justice, the Office of Provincial Affairs - US Mission, Iraq, USD-N and USF-I staffs.

Responsible for all International Military Students. Annually manages funds of ~ $9.2 million. Serves as program manager for doctrine development. Advises the Commandants on common-core and maneuver support issues. Coordinates routinely with TRADOC, CAC, COEs and Army field agencies.

Professor of Military Science for Northeastern University (host) and partnership programs including Boston College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Suffolk University, Regis College Berkley College of Music, Emmanuel College and up to 5-6 additional schools in the Boston, MA area. Responsible for the leadership, training, morale and safety of 10-15 cadre members and ~120 Cadets of the Liberty Battalion. Markets, recruits, enrolls, trains, mentors, retains, accesses and commissions the future officer leadership of the US Army. Personally instructs MSIV Cadets. Manages a $150k budget and administers a $3-4 million dollar scholarship program. Serves as Department Chair of Military Science on campus.
