Three Mom's and me. Today Kathy is Queen for the Day. Tomorrow...I will bitch. LOL We took the grandkids for Friday and Saturday to give my eldest daughter a Mother's Day break. She called us this morning to thank us. The gift of a day with no responsibility. Sometimes, just time is the best gift you can give a Mom.

My youngest lives far away, but she got the chocolates and her hubby is taking care of everything for the day. And of course, I thought about my own Mom, and posted about her last night. I have been lucky to have been surrounded by good Mom's my whole life. When I told Kathy that there really isn't any difference in her day on Mother's Day, as since I retired, and she works, I do all the cooking, laundry and cleaning. She doesn't even have to wash and iron her uniforms.

She laughed and said: "As it should be."

So I think I will close with one of the many things Kathy has said over the years that made me laugh. When we got married, she whispered to me (just before we took our vows):
"Kevin, you are either going to die in my arms...or at the end of them."
Forty four years later...she still has those long arms!
