Wow, that's some impressive innovation with the sand battery technology! It's amazing how something as simple as sand can be used to store energy and heat entire towns for a week. Plus, the fact that it doesn't rely on exotic materials makes it even more appealing. On a related note, if you're interested in exploring battery options for personal devices, you might want to check out the 3.7V Li-ion battery. I've had good experiences with them, and you can find some affordable options at this link: https://www.batterypkcell.com/li-polymer-battery/

Cristina Massey Thanks for the suggestion! A;ways trying to find good batteries.
Something else I like about technology, like the sand batteries reminds, is that it reminds us living more simply can be easier,, less costly, and less toxic, so more healthy.

Lt Col Charlie Brown Truly! Seems just right for desertified areas with an abundance of sand, limited hydroelectric, coal burning pants to make electricity (like Navajo nation who sells that energy to California, and suffers higher rates of Asthma because of the plants), and no need for nuclear plants for the purpose of generating electricity, like the one our electric company owns which has raised our bill x5 because of the cost!
